- If one slaughters an animal as a sacrifice to the angel of the mountains, seas, desert, the sun, moon, or stars, or to the angel Micha'el, or even to a worm, one may not benefit from that animal at all.
Read More - If one slaughters an animal to the mountains, rather than to the angel of the mountains, it is Pasul, but one is permitted to derive benefit from it.
Read More - If one slaughtered the animal of his friend when the animal was crouching in front of an Avodah Zarah, the animal becomes forbidden, even if he cut only one Siman.
Read More - Rebbi Yochanan maintains that although if one bows down to the animal of a friend, it does not become forbidden, if one does an act to the body of the animal for the sake of Avodah Zarah, it becomes forbidden. Rav Nachman, Rav Amram, and Rebbi Yitzchak disagree.
