Today's daf discussed the din of a shor that had in mind to gore one person but gored another person instead. How can we possibly know what a bull had in mind?;Perhaps the second person suddenly put himself in front ofthe first person?

The Kollel replies:

Yes, it is either referring to the case that you mention, or, more likely, to the reverse case -- that the intended victim moved away at the last minute. The Gemara uses many times the premise "Machshavto Nikeres mi'Toch Ma'asav" (as regards a Shoteh) that at times we can deduce intent from the

action.
