I saw this point in one of Rav Sloloveitchik's writings.
According to Rashi one can understand why this color is a bad simon for dream.

Rashi that you refer to describes Techeles as "like the darkening of the sky towards evening ." Your application of that Rashi to explain why seeing Techeles in a dream is a bad sign is excellent.
