 DAF DISCUSSIONS - ZEVACHIM 53
1. Mordechai asked:

In Point by point summary to Zevachim 53a,

under: 2) UPPER AND LOWER BLOOD

you have:

4. Correction: Rather, the four Amos (from the top of the Keren down to the Sovev) are considered like the Keren.

Question:

Shouldn't it be: the 4 amos from the bottom of the keren through one amoh below the sovev are considered like the keren.

The chut hasikrah was 1 amoh below the top of the sovev, and this distinguished between the upper and lower blood ?

Mordechai, Detroit, MI

2. The Kollel replies:

You are correct. We will correct 2:d:4 to say:

Rather, the four Amos (from the bottom of the Keren down to the Chut ha'Sikra) are considered like the Keren.

Thanks for pointing this out.
