Why does the Torah need to stress "Ki Mateh Echad le'Rosh Beis Avosam"?

Rashi: To teach us that, even though the Kohanim and the Levi'im were divided into two families, Mishpachas Kehunah and Mishpachas Levi'ah, basically, they were one tribe with one Nasi. 1

Ramban: And the purpose of the current test was to prove the authenticity of the tribe of Levi, as explained earlier, in Pasuk 6 (Refer to 17:6:1:3).
