1)

Who is "ha'Makriv" referring to?

1.

Rashbam: The Kohen who performs the Holachah to the Mizbe'ach.

2.

Refer to 7:32:1.1:1 & 7:32:1:1.

2)

Who is "ha'Makriv es Dam ha'Shelamim" coming to preclude?

1.

Rashi (citing Aba Shaul in Zevachim, 102b): It disqualifies any Kohen (belonging to the Beis-Av that is serving on that day) who is Tamei either when the blood is sprinkled or when it is burned on the Mizbe'ach 1 from receiving a portion of the Shelamim.

2.

Rashi #2 (in Chulin, 132b): The Kohen who takes the blood of the Shelamim to the Mizbe'ach (the Holachah) receives the right calf.

1

Accordmg to the Chachamim there, he is only disqualified if he is Tamei when the blood is sprinkled but not when it is burned. Aba Shaul actually maintains that rhe Kohen must be Tahor from the Zerikah to the Hekter Chalavim. See Torah Temimah, note 134.

1

See Torah Temimah, note 133.
