Why does the Torah add the (otherwise superfluous) words "ve?Im min ha?Tzon Korbano le'Zevach Shelamim"?

Zevachim, 5b: In order to Darshen that a Korban Pesach that come from the flocks) that one Shechts not in its time 1 she'Lo Lishmo, shall be a Shelamim.

Why does it say "Zachar O Nekevah"? Regarding cattle (verse 1), it says "Im Zachar Im Nekevah"!

Moshav Zekenim (1): For Tzon, it must write "O" to include a Palgas (a sheep in its 13th month. It is no longer a Keves (lamb), and it is not yet an Ayil (ram).
