Why did Moshe command the people not to leave over Manna until the morning?

Or ha'Chayim: Because he understood from Hashem's instructions to collect it day by day, that He did not want them to save up from one day to the next. 1

But to have faith that Hashem would provide for them the following day, just as He had provided for them the day before.
