Kollel Iyun Hadaf, which produces the "Dafyomi Advancement Forum" (D.A.F.), began their production of Dafyomi study-material at the beginning of Maseches Chulin in Elul 5756 (August 1996). The Kollel teaches the Daf to 2,500 subscribers (via e-mail), and to nearly 20,000 others who visit its archives each month. Their web-based material provides a free resource center for those who study Gemara in general and Dafyomi in particular. To date, they have produced over 30,000 pages of resource material on all of Shas in Hebrew and English.

The members of Kollel Iyun Hadaf are experienced scholars, teachers and writers, who produce 8 different types of study material, including in-depth Insights, Background information, Outlines to the Daf, English and Hebrew Charts, and comprehensive Review Questions and Answers. The popular "Yosef Da'as" and "Galei Masechta" publications in Hebrew are also published under the auspices of Kollel Iyun Hadaf. For the past year, the Kollel has been broadcasting a weekly in-depth lecture on selected topics of the Daf.

One of the most popular features of the Kollel's service is the interactive discussion forum. People from around the world send in their questions, and they are sent answers from the scholars of the Kollel. The Kollel has responded to over 3,000 questions.

The Kollel also produces Dafyomi calendars, bookmarks, and unique Siyum-cards.

Kollel Iyun Hadaf was founded by Rabbi Mordecai Kornfeld of Har Nof, Yerushalayim. Numbering at present 14 full-time and part-time members, its staff includes Rabbis Eliezer Chrysler, Dov Zupnik, Dovid Zusman, Yaakov Tavin, Yosef Ben Arza, Pesach Feldman, and Yisroel Shaw. With the encouragement and blessings of Jewish leaders and educators such as Hagaonim Rav Shlomo Wolbe, Rav Moshe Shapiro, Rav Nachman Bulman, and Rav Aharon Feldman, shlit'a, the vast potential of modern telecommunications has been harnessed by Kollel Iyun Hadaf to bring Torah to the world.
