THE PROHIBITIONS OF THE KORBAN PESACH (Yerushalmi Halachah 2 Daf 47b)

(a)

If he ate a Kzayis of semi-roasted meat of the Pesach before nightfall - one Beraisa teaches that he is liable and another Beraisa teaches that he is exempt.

(b)

The Beraisa that teaches that he is liable is because the Pasuk states, "Do not eat from it semi-roasted'' - in any case.

(c)

The Beraisa that teaches that he is exempt reasons that at the time that he is commanded to eat the roasted Korban, he is commanded not to eat it semi-roasted. However, at a time when he is not commanded to eat the roasted Korban, he is not commanded against eating it semi-roasted.

(d)

If he broke a bone of the Pesach before nightfall - one Beraisa teaches that he is liable and another Beraisa teaches that he is exempt.

(e)

The Beraisa that teaches that he is liable is because the Pasuk states (Shemos 12, 46), "you shall not break a bone of it'' - in any case.

(f)

The Beraisa that teaches that he is exempt, reasons that at the time that he is not commanded to eat the roasted Korban, he is not commanded against breaking a bone. However, at a time when he is commanded to eat the roasted Korban, he is commanded against breaking a bone.

(g)

If the flesh touched the ceramic of the oven, it is a disqualification in the body of the Korban and must be burned immediately.

(h)

If its juices dripped on the ceramic, it is invalid as a result of what it absorbed and it requires being left until it loses its appearance of flesh.

(i)

If its juices dripped onto fine flour, he must remove a handful [of flour] from that area.

(j)

Chiya bar Acha quoting R''SBL: This law only applies when the juices were hot; but if not, it is permitted.

(k)

R. Elazar: The Torah only prohibited it being roasted by other things but it did not prohibit it from roasting other things.

2)

RUBBING TERUMAH OILS ONTO THE KORBAN PESACH (Yerushalmi Halachah 3 Daf 48a)

(a)

(Mishnah): If they rubbed the Korban Pesach with Terumah oil -

1.

If they are a group of Kohanim, they may eat it.

2.

If they are Yisraelim - if it is raw, they should wash it; if it is roasted, they should remove the outer layer (since it absorbed the oil).

(b)

If they rubbed it with Maaser (Sheni) oil, other members of the group should not pay him for their portion of the Maaser Sheni as one may not sell Maaser Sheni in Yerushalayim.

(c)

(Gemara): The Mishnah only taught a case of when they rubbed oil onto the Pesach, but if they dipped it in the Terumah oil, it would be prohibited.

(d)

A person once cooked a chicken in Terumah Temeyah oil. R. Bisna told him that it was prohibited.

(e)

Our Mishnah should teach that one may not redeem Maaser Sheni in Yerushalayim. (As for a sale, this may not even be done outside of Yerushalayim.)
