SUMMARY

1. The Gemara discusses the case of a person who designated two Korbenos Chatas even though he only had to bring one.

2. The Gemara explains why the blood of the Se'ir la'Hashem must be disposed of if the Se'ir la'Azazel dies.

3. The Gemara discusses a scenario in which people would give replacement Shekalim which would end up being used for the following year.

4. It is a Mitzvah for Korbenos Tzibur to be brought with the new money donated starting from Rosh Chodesh Nisan.

5. The Gemara discusses the definition of "a complete year" stated regarding houses in a walled city.

A BIT MORE

1. He obviously did so to ensure that if one would become lost, he would bring the other. The law is that he offers one of them and the other is put out to pasture until it receives a blemish, and is then redeemed.

2. If the Se'ir la'Azazel dies (without being pushed off the cliff) before the sprinkling of the blood of the Se'ir la'Hashem, the blood is not sprinkled and another Korban must be offered. This is derived from the verse, "It should stand before Hashem to atone," implying that the Se'ir la'Azazel must be alive until after the atonement of the Se'ir la'Hashem, which occurs after the sprinkling of its blood. If the Se'ir la'Azazel dies before the Zerikas ha'Dam of the Se'ir la'Hashem, the Se'ir la'Hashem is invalid.

3. The Gemara discusses a situation in which people sent their Shekalim with a messenger, and the coins were lost or stolen before the new money was used in the Beis ha'Mikdash. The Tana Kama says that if the people replaced the money and then their money was found or recovered from the thieves, they still must give Shekalim the following year. Rebbi Yehudah says that they have already fulfilled their obligation for the following year (with the recovered Shekalim).

4. If the Korbanos are brought with the money donated last year, they are still valid, but this special Mitzvah is not fulfilled.

5. The Torah states that if a person sells a house in a walled city he may redeem it within "a complete year." Rebbi: This means 365 days. Chachamim: This means twelve months from that day.
