SUMMARY
1. Rav: Before Moshe Rabeinu died, Yehoshua forgot 300 Halachos and had 700 doubts.
2. Rebbi Avahu: Through the learning of Osni'el ben Kenaz, what was forgotten during the days after the death of Moshe Rabeinu was restored.
3. Osni'el ben Kenaz was the half-brother and son-in-law of Kalev ben Yefuneh.
4. A person should not refuse to teach Torah to his student.
5. The Mishnah explains that in some ways Kodshim is more stringent than Temurah.

A BIT MORE
1. Before his death, Moshe Rabeinu asked Yehoshua if he had any questions. Yehoshua responded that Moshe himself had written in the Torah that "Yehoshua... never left the tent [of Moshe]," and therefore he had no questions. Yehoshua immediately forgot 300 Halachos and had 700 doubts.
2. He derives this from the verse that says that upon capturing Kiryat Sefer, Osni'el ben Kenaz was able to restore what was lost through his tremendous power of Pilpul (sharp analysis).
3. Kalev announced that he would give his beautiful daughter Achsah in marriage to the man who would capture Kiryat Sefer. Osni'el, his half-brother from his mother's side, captured Kiryat Sefer and subsequently married Achsah.
4. Rebbi Nasan: If he agrees to teach him, both will be enlightened by Hashem. If he refuses to teach Torah in this situation, he will become a fool, while the student will become wise.
5. Kodshim can be used to make Temurah. Kodshim can be dedicated by the public or by partners, and fetuses and limbs can be dedicated as well (as opposed to Temurah).
