SUMMARY

1. Rebbi Yochanan says that a Kli Shares sanctifies only an item placed in it with intent that it become sanctified.

2. If a Kohen Pasul separates the Kometz from a Minchah and places it in a Kli Shares, it does not become sanctified to be placed on the Mizbe'ach.

3. If an item falls into a Kli Shares by itself, it does not become sanctified.

4. When the property of orphans is sold by the Beis Din, sometimes it is auctioned for thirty days and sometimes for sixty days.

5. Four Kohanim are needed to remove the Lechem ha'Panim and the Bazichin from the Shulchan. Another four Kohanim are needed to place the new Lechem ha'Panim and Bazichin on the Shulchan.

6. One is permitted to separate the Kometz from a Minchah while the Kli is on the ground. One is permitted to sanctify a Minchah in a Kli which is on the ground.

7. A Kometz may not be sanctified in a Kli while it is on the ground, just as the blood of a Korban may not be received in a Kli while it is on the ground.

8. If a Kometz is divided up and placed into two Klei Shares, it does not become sanctified.

9. The blood of Parim or Se'irim ha'Nisrafim, or of an Asham Metzora, which require seven Haza'os, may not be received in two vessels.

10. The leftover blood on the finger of the Kohen from a Haza'ah of the blood of Parim or Se'irim ha'Nisrafim is Pasul for another Haza'ah.

11. If the blood of the Parim or Se'irim ha'Nisrafim splatters from the Kohen's finger onto a garment prior to the Haza'ah, it must be washed in the Azarah.

12. After he has done all of the Haza'os of the blood of the Parah Adumah, the Kohen wipes off the remaining blood from his hand onto the body of the Parah.

A BIT MORE

1. Therefore, if a Kohen Pasul separates a Kometz and then places it back in the original Kli Shares with the rest of the Minchah, it is not sanctified. The Kometz may be separated again, according to Ben Beseirah.

2. However, it does become sanctified with respect to being Pasul, and it may not be returned to the original Kli Shares for another act of Kemiztah to be done, according to Rebbi Yosi ben Yosi ben Yasyan and Rebbi Yehudah ha'Nachtom.

3. It is akin to being placed in the Kli Shares by a monkey. It does not become sanctified even according to the opinion that a Kli Shares sanctifies items without intent.

4. If it is auctioned daily, it is auctioned for only thirty days. If it is auctioned only on Mondays and Thursdays, it is auctioned for sixty days.

5. The Bazichin permit the Lechem ha'Panim to be eaten, just as the Kometz permits a Minchah to be eaten.

6. The Bazichin also may be removed from the Shulchan while the Shulchan is on the ground. They also may be placed on the Shulchan while it is on the ground.

7. The Bazichin are not placed into a Kli after they are removed from the Shulchan. Therefore, the law of the Kometz cannot be learned from the Bazichin. Instead, it is learned from the blood of a Korban.

8. If the ashes of the Parah Adumah are sanctified in two vessels, with less than the minimum Shi'ur for Haza'ah in each vessel, it may not be used. Even if the contents of the two vessels are mixed together, it does not become sanctified.

9. If the blood for three Haza'os is received in one vessel, and blood for four Haza'os is received in another vessel, it is not valid for Haza'ah.

10. The Kohen must dip his finger in the blood of the vessel after each Haza'ah.

11. If the blood splatters from the Kohen's finger after the Haza'ah, it is not necessary to wash the garment in the Azarah, since the remaining blood on his finger is Pasul for Haza'ah.

12. The blood of the Parah Adumah is burned along with the Parah. Therefore, the remaining blood is wiped off on the Parah. In between the Haza'os, the Kohen wipes off the remaining blood from his finger onto the Kli which contains the blood of the Parah.
