SUMMARY

1. According to the Tana Kama, the Kabalas ha'Dam of a Korban must be done with the Kohen's right hand. Rebbi Shimon disagrees.

2. The Shechitah of a Korban may be done by a non-Kohen, even if he is not the owner of the Korban.

3. If the Tenufah of a Shalmei Nazir is not done, the Nazir does not fulfill his obligation.

4. All four Minim of a Todah and of a Metzora are necessary. If one of them is missing, the owner of the Korban does not fulfill his obligation with the other three. He must bring all four Minim again.

5. The two goats of Yom ha'Kipurim, the two orders of bread and the two Bazichin of the Lechem ha'Panim are all necessary. If one of them is missing, the other two must be brought again.

6. Any Avodah of the Minchah which is mentioned in Parshas Vayikra and is repeated in Parshas Tzav is an essential Avodah. If it is not done, the Minchah is Pasul.

7. The Kohen must perform Kemitzah with his hand. If the Kohen makes a Kli with the exact measurements of his hand and performs Kemitzah with the Kli, it is Pasul according to Rav. Shmuel disagrees.

8. The Klei Shares used for measuring liquids sanctify only liquids. The Klei Shares used for measuring solids sanctify only solids. Shmuel says that the Mizrekos used for the Kabalas ha'Dam also sanctify solids.

9. The Hagashah of the Minchah is done at the southwestern corner of the Mizbe'ach, according to the Tana Kama. Rebbi Eliezer maintains that the Minchah is brought to the south of the Mizbe'ach.

A BIT MORE

1. According to the Tana Kama, the word "Etzba" in the verse in the Torah which discusses Kabalas ha'Dam and Zerikas ha'Dam teaches that both the Kabalah and the Zerikah must be done with the Kohen's right hand. According to Rebbi Shimon, the word "Etzba" in the verse refers only to Zerikah and not to Kabalah.

2. Shechitah is deduced from Semichah. Just as the Semichah of a Korban may be done by a non-Kohen, Shechitah may be done by a non-Kohen. However, although Semichah may be done only by the owner, Shechitah may be done by anyone.

3. The Zero'a Besheilah, with two of the loaves, are placed on the hands of the Nazir after he shaves. The Tenufah is done by the Kohen. If the Tenufah was not done, the Nazir must bring the Korban again.

4. A Todah requires four types of loaves, and a Metzora requires the four Minim: Etz Erez, Sheni Tola'as, Ezov, and Tziporim. If one is missing, even the three that he brought must be brought again.

5. If the Lechem ha'Panim is missing the Bazichin or vice versa, the Tzibur has not fulfilled its obligation to bring the Lechem ha'Panim.

6. However, any Avodah which is not repeated in Parshas Tzav is not essential. If it is not done, b'Di'eved the Minchah is valid.

7. Rav maintains that the requirement that Kemitzah be done with the hand of the Kohen is repeated in the Torah, and, therefore, it is Pasul if done with a Kli. According to Shmuel, since the requirement is repeated in the Parshah of Milu'im -- which was a one time event -- its repetition does not teach that it is Pasul if done with a Kli.

8. The measuring utensils are suitable for measuring only either solids or liquids, but not both. Therefore, they sanctify only one and not the other. In contrast, the Mizrekos, although used primarily for the Kabalas ha'Dam, are suitable for solids as well, such as during the Chanukas ha'Mishkan, when they were used for the flour brought by the Nesi'im.

10. The Torah states that the Minchah must be brought "in front of Hashem" and to the "Pnei ha'Mizbe'ach." The western side of the Mizbe'ach is in front of Hashem, as the Heichal is in the west, and the southern side of the Mizbe'ach is the "Pnei ha'Mizbe'ach" because the ramp is on that side. Therefore, according to the Tana Kama, the Minchah is brought to the southwestern corner of the Mizbe'ach. Rebbi Eliezer maintains that the entire Mizbe'ach was in the north of the Azarah, and thus the southern side of the Mizbe'ach was directly opposite the entrance to the Heichal. Therefore, according to Rebbi Eliezer, the Minchah is brought to the southern side of the Mizbe'ach because it is in front of Hashem and it is also the "Pnei ha'Mizbe'ach."
