SUMMARY

1. According to Beis Shamai, the blood of a Neveilah is Tahor. Beis Hillel disagrees.

2. One may not bring one, two, or five Lugin of wine for Nesachim as a Nedavah.

3. There were six collection boxes ("Shofaros") marked "Nedavah" in the Beis ha'Mikdash, into which money was deposited for the purpose of buying Olos which were brought on the Mizbe'ach when it was idle.

4. If one vows to bring five Lugin of wine for a Nedavah, he may bring four Lugin on the Mizbe'ach, and the remaining Log may be brought together with the remainder of another person's Nedavah.

5. One may bring wine for a Nedavah, but not oil, according to Rebbi Akiva. Rebbi Tarfon maintains that one may bring even oil as a Nedavah.

6. One may offer a Minchas Nesachim as a Nedavah every day.

7. All Korbanos may be brought in partnership with others, with the exception of a Minchah.

8. If one vows to bring a Minchah of a certain sum of Esronim and he forgets the sum, he must bring a Minchah of 60 Esronim, according to the Tana Kama.

9. Rebbi maintains that when one forgets the sum of Esronim that he vowed to bring as a Minchah, if he vowed to bring the Minchah in one utensil he must bring 60 different Menachos.

10. If one vows to bring a Stam Minchah, he may bring any of the five Menachos that he chooses. Rebbi Yehudah maintains that he must bring a Minchas Soles.

A BIT MORE

1. Even according to Beis Hillel, only a Revi'is of the blood of a Neveilah is Metamei, because when it congeals it is the size of an olive.

2. One, two, or five Lugin of wine are never brought for Nesachim. However, three Lugin of wine are brought for a Keves, four Lugin are brought with an Ayil, and six Lugin are brought with a Par. Seven (and more) Lugin of wine may also be brought as a Nedavah, because that amount is brought when two or more Korbanos are brought together.

3. The six "Shofaros" were for the leftover money which had been designated for a Chatas, an Asham, an Asham Nazir, an Asham Metzora, Kinim, or for a Minchas Chotei.

4. Although he vowed to bring five Lugin, he is not obligated to bring all five Lugin at one time. Since five Lugin may not be brought on the Mizbe'ach, he brings four Lugin, and the remaining Lug may be brought at a later time in combination with another Nedavah.

5. According to Rebbi Akiva, since wine is something that is brought separately on the Mizbe'ach, it may be brought as a Nedavah. However, oil is never brought separately on the Mizbe'ach, and thus it may not be brought as a Nedavah. Rebbi Tarfon maintains that oil may be brought as a Nedavah; a Kometz is taken from it and burned on the Mizbe'ach and the remainder is eaten by the Kohanim.

6. If one vows to bring a Stam Minchah, he must bring one of five types of Menachos: Minchas Soles, Machavas, Marcheshes, Chalos, or Rekikin. However, if he specifies that he will bring a Minchas Nesachim, he may bring it as a Nedavah.

7. The Torah states "Nefesh" with regard to a Minchah, which implies that it may be brought by only one person, and not by more than one person in a partnership.

8. 60 Esronim is the maximum amount for a Minchah which is brought in one utensil. He must bring 60 Esronim and stipulate that the amount of the vow shall be for his Neder and the remainder shall be for a Nedavah.

9. According Rebbi, he must bring a Minchah which is exactly the sum of his vow, no more and no less. Therefore, he must bring 60 different Menachos: one Minchah of one Isaron, a second Minchah of two Esronim, a third Minchah of three Esronim, and so on. However, if he did not vow to bring the Minchah in one utensil, he must bring 60 Esronim in 60 different utensils.

10. If one vows to bring a specific Minchah and he forgets which Minchah, he must bring all five Menachos.
