SUMMARY

1. If a Korban Todah is found to be a Ba'alas Mum, Rebbi Eliezer maintains the breads are sanctified. Rebbi Yehoshua disagrees, according to Rebbi Meir.

2. Rebbi Yehudah says that Rebbi Eliezer and Rebbi Yehoshua agree that if a Korban Todah was found to be a Ba'alas Mum, the breads are not sanctified. They disagree in a case in which the Korban was slaughtered with intent to eat the Korban outside of Yerushalayim.

3. If the Korban Todah was slaughtered and found to be a Tereifah, or it was slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah, everyone agrees that the breads are not sanctified. If it was slaughtered with intent to eat the Korban on the following day, the breads are not sanctified.

4. If a Chatas was slaughtered with intent to eat from the Korban on the following day, if the Eimurim are placed on the Mizbe'ach they are not removed.

5. If a Chatas was slaughtered with intent to eat from the Korban outside of Yerushalayim, if the Eimurim are placed on the Mizbe'ach they are removed, according to Rava. Rabah disagrees.

6. If the Nesachim of a Korban were placed in a Kli Shares and the Korban became Pasul, the Nesachim should be used for a different Korban. If they are not used, they become Pasul with Linah.

7. Ze'iri says that according to Rebbi, Nesachim become sanctified with Kedushas ha'Guf only at the time of the Shechitah of the Korban.

8. According to Rebbi Elazar b'Rebbi Shimon, the Nesachim become sanctified with Kedushas ha'Guf only when the blood of the Korban is received in a Kli Shares.

9. Oil which was separated for use with one Minchah is Pasul for use with a different Minchah.

10. Animals that were designated for the Korban Tamid and are not needed by the Tzibur may not be redeemed without a Mum, according to Rebbi Shimon. The Chachamim disagree.

11. The offspring and Temurah of a Todah are brought without bread. If a Todah is lost and a replacement is designated, and the original Todah is subsequently found, the second one is brought without bread.

A BIT MORE

1. Everyone agrees that if the Todah was found to be a Tereifah, the breads are not sanctified since the Pesul existed prior to the Shechitah. Nevertheless, if it was found to be a Ba'alas Mum, the breads are sanctified, according to Rebbi Eliezer, if the Mum was in the eye. Such a Mum is the type that if the Eimurim were placed on the Mizbe'ach, they are not removed.

2. According to Rebbi Eliezer, if the Korban Todah is slaughtered with intent to eat the Korban outside Yerushalayim, the breads are sanctified, because it is compared to a Todah that is slaughtered with intent to eat the Korban on the following day, in which case the breads are sanctified. Rebbi Yehoshua says that if it is slaughtered with intent to eat the Korban outside Yerushalayim, the breads are not sanctified, because it is compared to a Todah that is slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah, in which case the breads are not sanctified.

3. Since the Pesul of Tereifah preceded the Shechitah, the breads are not sanctified. If the Korban was slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah. it does not have the Kedushah of a Todah and the breads are not sanctified.

4. If a Korban Todah is slaughtered with intent to eat from it on the following day, the breads are sanctified. Similarly, if a Chatas or any other Korban is slaughtered with intent to eat from it the following day, if it was placed on the Mizbe'ach it is not removed.

5. According to some opinions, Rabah retracted his position in favor of Rava's, just as Rebbi Eliezer retracted in favor of Rebbi Yehoshua's opinion. According to others, Rabah did not retract, as Rebbi Eliezer conceded to Rebbi Yehoshua only with regard to the sanctification of the breads of a Todah (in which case it is compared to she'Lo Lishmah, which does not sanctify the bread), but he did not concede with regard to removing the Eimurim from the Mizbe'ach if the Korban was slaughtered she'Lo Lishmah, in which case the Eimurim are not removed.

6. Beis Din's unspoken condition (Lev Beis Din) makes the Kedushah of the Nesachim conditional on being needed for the Korban. If it is not needed for the Korban for which it was sanctified, it may be used for a different Korban.

7. Although the Nesachim have been placed in a Kli Shares already, they do not attain Kedushas ha'Guf to become Pasul with Linah or with Yotzei until the Shechitah of the Korban. The Shechitah, however, sanctifies the Nesachim even without Zerikah, according to Rebbi.

8. According to Rebbi Elazar b'Rebbi Shimon, the Shechitah of the two Kivsei Atzeres do not sanctify the Shtei ha'Lechem without Zerikah. Likewise, the Shechitah of a Korban does not sanctify the Nesachim without Zerikah. However, receiving the blood in a Kli suffices to sanctify the Nesachim even if they subsequently spill, because Rebbi Elazar b'Rebbi Shimon follows the view of his father that if the blood is ready to be placed on the Mizbe'ach, it is considered as though it has already been placed on the Mizbe'ach.

9. Although Nesachim which were sanctified for one Korban may be used for a different Korban, that is only because the Nesachim are not part of the actual Korban and therefore Beis Din makes the sanctification of the Nesachim conditional. Oil, in contrast, is part of the actual Minchah, and therefore Beis Din cannot make its sanctity conditional.

10. There were never less than six animals designated for the Korbenos Temidim in the Lishkah. These six animals were examined for Mumim. On the last day of Adar, after two animals were taken for the Temidim of that day, four animals remained which could not be used, because upon the arrival of Rosh Chodesh Nisan the animals for the Korbenos Tzibur were purchased from the new year's funds in the Lishkah. According to Rebbi Shimon, the remaining four animals were sent out to pasture until they developed a Mum, and than they were redeemed. According to the Rabanan, Beis Din made an unspoken condition allowing them to be redeemed even without a Mum.

11. If the original Todah is found before the replacement is brought, the owner may bring first whichever one he chooses. The first one is brought with the breads, and the second one is brought without the breads.
