SUMMARY

1. If the Kohen burns the Kometz of a Minchah with a Machshavas Pigul, and he burns the Levonah without a Machshavas Pigul, or vice versa, according to Rebbi Meir the Minchah is Pigul. The Rabanan disagree.

2. If the Kohen slaughters one of the two Kivsei Atzeres with intent to eat the Shtei ha'Lechem on the following day, according to Rebbi Meir the Shtei ha'Lechem are Pigul. The Rabanan disagree.

3. If the Kohen slaughters one of the two Kivsei Atzeres with intent to eat from the Korban on the following day, that Keves is Pigul. The other Keves remains valid.

4. Rav says that the disagreement between Rebbi Meir and the Rabanan applies only when the second Haktarah was the one done with a Machshavas Pigul. Shmuel disagrees; he says that the disagreement is even in a case where the first Haktarah was done with a Machshavas Pigul.

5. If the Kohen performed the first placement of blood of a Korban which is brought in the Azarah with a Machshavah of Pigul, it is Pigul even according to the Rabanan.

6. The blood of a Chatas ha'Penimis placed in the Kodesh ha'Kodashim without a Machshavas Pigul, but placed in the Heichal or on the Mizbe'ach with a Machshavas Pigul, is Pigul, according to Rebbi Meir. The Rabanan disagree.

7. There is a disagreement about whether the bloods of the Par and Sa'ir of Yom ha'Kipurim are mixed together before they are placed on the corners of the Mizbe'ach.

8. There is a disagreement about whether the Par and Sa'ir of Yom ha'Kipurim are valid if the Shirayim of their bloods are not spilled on the Yesod of the Mizbe'ach.

9. If the Kohen has a Machshavas Pigul during the Holachah of the Kometz, according to Rebbi Yochanan it is akin to a Machshavah during the Kemitzah. Reish Lakish says that it is akin to a Machshavah during the Haktarah.

10. Acherim says that if a person slaughters a Korban Pesach for Mulim and for Arelim, it is valid. If he slaughters the first Siman of the animal only for Arelim and the second Siman for Mulim, it is Pasul.

11. If the Kohen offers the Kometz on the Mizbe'ach and burns one sesame's amount at a time with intent to eat the Shirayim one sesame's amount at a time on the following day, there is a disagreement about whether the Minchah is Pigul, Pasul but not Pigul, or Kosher.

A BIT MORE

1. According to the Rabanan, a Machshavas Pigul on half of a Matir does not make a Korban or Minchah become Pigul. The Kometz and the Levonah are half of a Matir because together they are Matir the Shirayim of a Minchah to the Kohanim.

2. Rebbi Meir and the Rabanan also disagree with regard to the Lechem ha'Panim. If only one of the two Bazichin of Levonah was brought with intent to eat the Lechem ha'Panim on the following day, according to Rebbi Meir the Lechem ha'Panim are Pigul. The Rabanan disagree.

3. If the Kohen slaughters one of the two Kivsei Atzeres with intent to eat from the other Keves on the following day, both of them are valid.

4. According to Rav, if the first Haktarah was done with a Machshavah of Pigul, it is assumed that every subsequent Avodah was done with the same Machshavah.

5. For any of the Korbanos which are brought on the Mizbe'ach in the Azarah, the Korban is valid if the blood is placed only once on the Mizbe'ach. Therefore, the first placement of the blood on the Mizbe'ach is regarded as a complete Matir.

6. All of the placements of the blood of a Chatas ha'Penimis are essential for the Kashrus of the Korban. Therefore, each one by itself is considered a Chatzi Matir.

7. According to the opinion that the blood is mixed together, a total of 43 Haza'os are done with the blood of the two Korbanos. According to the opinion that the blood is not mixed together, a total of 47 Haza'os are done.

8. According to the opinion that if the Shirayim of the blood of the Par and Sa'ir of Yom ha'Kipurim is not spilled on the Yesod of the Mizbe'ach, the Korbanos are valid, there are no more than 47 Haza'os. According to the other opinion, there are up to 48 Haza'os.

9. According to Rebbi Yochanan, a Machshavas Pigul on the Holachah of the Kometz is considered a Machshavas Pigul on an entire Matir, since Holachah is not an Avodah that is Matir anything. According to Reish Lakish, it is considered a Machshavah on a Chatzi Matir, and the Minchah is Pigul, according to the Rabanan, only if the Kohen also had a Machshavas Pigul during the Holachah of the Levonah.

10. "Acherim" is Rebbi Meir, who maintains that a Machshavas Pigul of a Chatzi Matir renders the Korban Pigul. Therefore, a Machshavah of Arelim, which is a Machshavas Pesul for a Korban Pesach, on only one Siman renders the Korban Pasul, even though one Siman is a Chatzi Matir.

11. The opinion that says it is Pigul maintains that it is the normal manner to burn or to eat the Minchah one sesame's amount at a time. Therefore, it is no different from any Machshavas Pigul during the Haktarah. The opinion that says it is Pasul maintains that it is unusual to burn the Kometz one sesame's amount at a time. Therefore, it is as if the Kometz was not brought upon the Mizbe'ach at all. The opinion that says it is Kosher maintains that it is the normal manner to burn the Kometz one sesame's amount at a time, but it is unusual to eat the Shirayim one sesame's amount at a time. Therefore, it is not a Machshavas Pigul at all.
