SUMMARY

1. Rebbi Elazar says that if the Kohen performs the Kemitzah of a Minchah in the Heichal, it is valid, just as the Bazichin are removed from the Shulchan in the Heichal.

2. If, prior to the removal of the Lechem ha'Panim and the Bazichin from the Shulchan, one of the breads collapses, all of the breads are Pasul. The Bazichin may not be burned on the Mizbe'ach.

3. If, after the removal of the Lechem ha'Panim and the Bazichin from the Shulchan, one of the breads collapses, all of the breads are Pasul, but the Bazichin may be burned on the Mizbe'ach.

4. Rebbi Elazar says that even if merely the time arrived for the Lechem ha'Panim and the Bazichin to be removed from the Shulchan, if one of the breads collapses the Bazichin may be burned on the Mizbe'ach.

5. If the Kohen Gadol sanctifies half of the Chavitin in one utensil and the other half in another utensil, there is a disagreement about whether it is sanctified.

6. If one places half of an Isaron of flour for a Minchah in a Kli Shares with intent to complete the Isaron, according to Rav it is not sanctified. Rebbi Yochanan disagrees.

7. Rav says that if the flour, the Shemen, or the Levonah of a Minchah is placed in a Kli Shares without the others, it is sanctified. Rebbi Chanina disagrees.

8. The measuring utensils of the Beis ha'Mikdash which are used for liquids sanctify only liquids. The measuring utensils used for non-liquids sanctify only non-liquids.

9. The Kemitzah of a Minchah may be done anywhere in the Azarah, even in the portion of the Azarah where entry is permitted for a non-Kohen.

10. The Shechitah of a Shelamim that was done in the Heichal is valid.

A BIT MORE

1. The burning of the Bazichin permit the Kohanim to eat the Lechem ha'Panim, just as the burning of the Kemitzah permit the Kohanim to eat the Minchah. Therefore, the law of the Kemitzah of a Minchah is derived from the Bazichin.

2. The Bazichin are akin to the Kemitzah of a Minchah. A Minchah which becomes deficient prior to the Kemitzah may not be eaten, and the Kometz may not be burned on the Mizbe'ach.

3. If a Minchah became deficient after the Kemiztah was done, although it may not be eaten, the Kometz is burned on the Mizbe'ach.

4. Since the Levonah is inside the Bazichin and thus they are in a different Kli from the Lechem ha'Panim, when the sixth hour of the day passes and it is the time to remove the Bazichin it is regarded as if the Bazichin have already been removed.

5. Rebbi Yochanan says that the Chavitin do not become sanctified when placed into two vessels. Rebbi Elazar says that since it is brought half in the morning and half in the evening, it also may be sanctified in halves.

6. Rebbi Yochanan maintains that the Chavitin do not become sanctified when placed into two vessels. However, if half of an Isaron is placed in a Kli Shares for a Minchah in order to complete the Isaron, it becomes sanctified. According to Rav, it does not become sanctified, even in order to complete the Isaron. Certainly, according to Rav, if the two halves of an Isaron of a Minchas Chavitin are placed into two vessels, it does not become sanctified.

7. Since certain Menachos are brought without Shemen or Levonah, such as a Minchas Chotei, a Kli Shares sanctifies the flour of a Minchah even without Shemen or Levonah. Since the Log Shemen of a Metzora is brought without flour or Levonah, and the Levonah in the Bazichin are brought without flour and Shemen, a Kli Shares sanctifies Shemen without Levonah and vice versa.

8. The measuring utensils for liquids are suitable only for liquids, and the measuring utensils for non-liquids are suitable only for non-liquids. However, Shmuel says that the vessels called "Mizrekos," used for receiving the blood of the Korbanos, are suitable also for non-liquids, and thus they sanctify non-liquids as well, such as flour.

9. Although the Hagashah of a Minchah must be done in the southwest corner of the Mizbe'ach, the Kemitzah may be done anywhere in the Azarah.

10. If Nochrim surround the Azarah and the Kohanim cannot eat the Kodshei Kodashim in the Azarah, they may eat them even in the Heichal.
