SUMMARY

1. If the limbs of an Olah became displaced from the Mizbe'ach prior to midnight and they were returned to the Mizbe'ach after midnight, Rabah says that at midnight of the next day they are considered to be consumed and they are no longer subject to Me'ilah. Rav Chisda says that they are considered to be consumed at daybreak.

2. According to Rabah, the limbs of an Olah which became displaced from the Mizbe'ach prior to midnight and were returned to the Mizbe'ach after daybreak, at midnight of the next day they are considered consumed and they are no longer subject to Me'ilah. Rav Chisda says that they are never considered to be consumed.

3. Rav Yosef says that the limbs of an Olah which were displaced from the Mizbe'ach prior to midnight are considered consumed at midnight of that night, even though they were not on the Mizbe'ach at that time.

4. Even if the Lechem ha'Panim remains on the Shulchan for many days, it does not become Pasul with Linah.

5. If the limbs of an Olah were left overnight on top of the Mizbe'ach and they remained on the Mizbe'ach, they may be placed on the Ma'arachah to be burned.

6. If the limbs of an Olah were left overnight on top of the Mizbe'ach and they were removed from the Mizbe'ach, according to Rabah they may be returned to the Mizbe'ach. Rava disagrees.

7. The Mizbe'ach and the ramp sanctify anything fit to be placed on it. They sanctify even Pesulim, which may not be removed once they have been placed there.

8. If a Minchah Pesulah was placed in a Kli Shares, it becomes sanctified and may no longer be redeemed.

9. If a Kohen Pasul received, or placed on the Mizbe'ach, the blood of a Korban, it is Pasul. If, however, he placed the Eimurim on the Mizbe'ach, they are not removed.

10. There is a doubt about whether the airspace of the Mizbe'ach has the same status as the Mizbe'ach.

11. If the airspace of the Mizbe'ach has the same status as the Mizbe'ach, when the Kohen performs Melikah to an Olas ha'Of with intent to burn it on the Mizbe'ach the next day, it is not Pigul unless his intent was to take it down from the Mizbe'ach and then put it back on.

A BIT MORE

1. The disagreement between Rabah and Rav Chisda involves the fatty limbs. Even after they are hardened they not considered to be consumed by the fire, if they are not on the Mizbe'ach at midnight, because the fattiness prevents them from being consumed by the fire.

2. According to Rav Chisda, they must returned continuously to the Mizbe'ach until they are completely consumed, and until that time they are subject to Me'ilah.

3. However, Rebbi Chiya bar Aba says that one is forbidden to benefit from the limbs even after midnight, but they are no longer subject to Me'ilah.

4. The Lechem ha'Panim is set up on the Shulchan on Shabbos and remains there until the next Shabbos. If it was set up on the Shulchan on Sunday and the Bazichin were burned on the Mizbe'ach on Shabbos, it is Pasul, and the Lechem ha'Panim must remain on the Mizbe'ach until the following Shabbos.

5. Even if they had not been on top of the Mizbe'ach, if they were placed on the Mizbe'ach they may not be removed, because a Pesul Linah is not removed from the Mizbe'ach. Now that they were on top of the Mizbe'ach the entire night, they may be placed on the Ma'arachah.

6. According to Rabah, there is no Pesul Linah if they were left overnight on top of the Mizbe'ach.

7. If a Korban Pasul was placed on the ramp, it may be taken from the ramp to the Mizbe'ach.

8. Until it is placed in a Kli Shares, a Korban Minchah has only Kedushas Damim and may be redeemed. Once it has been placed in a Kli Shares, it becomes sanctified with Kedushas ha'Guf and may not be redeemed. Even if it is Tamei when it is placed in the Kli Shares, it becomes sanctified with Kedushas ha'Guf and may not be redeemed.

9. Since it is a Pesul which occurred after Shechitah, if it was placed on the Mizbe'ach it is not removed.

10. If the airspace of the Mizbe'ach is the same as the Mizbe'ach, a Korban Pasul held in the air above the Mizbe'ach becomes sanctified by the Mizbe'ach. It may be placed on the Ma'arachah to be burned.

11. Since the airspace of the Mizbe'ach is the same as the Mizbe'ach, and the Melikah of an Olas ha'Of is performed on the top of the Mizbe'ach, it becomes sanctified by the Mizbe'ach and may remain on the Mizbe'ach, even until the next day, like a Pesul Linah placed on the Mizbe'ach may remain there. Since the Olas ha'Of is already on the Mizbe'ach, it may remain there even l'Chatchilah, and therefore the Machshavah of the Kohen was not an invalid Machshavah unless he had in mind to take it down from the Mizbe'ach and then put it back.
