SUMMARY

1. If the Kohen has a Machshavas Pigul when he places the blood of a Chatas Penimis in the Kodesh ha'Kodashim, or on the Paroches, or on the Mizbe'ach in the Heichal, it is Pigul according to Rebbi Meir. The Chachamim disagree.

2. If a person offers an olive's size of a Kometz, Ketores, Minchas Kohen, or Minchas Nesachim outside of the Azarah, he is Chayav Kares according to the Tana Kama. Rebbi Eliezer says that he is Chayav only if he brings all of it outside the Azarah.

3. Rebbi Eliezer and Rebbi Shimon maintain that if the blood of a Chatas Penimis spills while the Kohen is placing the blood in the Kodesh ha'Kodashim or in the Heichal, when blood from a new animal is brought the Kohen must start from where he left off.

4. A person is not Chayav Kares for eating a Korban which was offered with a Machshavas Pigul, unless all of the Avodos were completed.

5. There is a disagreement about whether the blood of the Par and the Sa'ir of Yom ha'Kipurim must be mixed together before they are placed on the corners of the Mizbe'ach.

6. If the Kohen has a Machshavas Pigul during the Kemitzah, or during the placing of the Kometz in a utensil, or while he is bringing the Kometz to the Mizbe'ach, the Korban is Pigul.

7. If the Kohen is Maktir the Kometz of a Minchah with Machshavas Pigul, but not the Levonah, or vice versa, it is Pigul according to Rebbi Meir. The Chachamim disagree.

8. There is no Chiyuv Kares for eating the Kometz or Levonah of a Minchah which is Pigul.

A BIT MORE

1. According to Rebbi, Meir even though the Kohen did not have a Machshavas Pigul for all of the placements of the blood, the Korban is Pigul. According to the Chachamim, a Korban is Pigul only if the Kohen has a Machshavas Pigul for the entire Matir.

2. According to Rebbi Eliezer, one is Chayav for offering a Minchah outside the Azarah only when the Avodah is completed outside the Azarah. If he brings only an olive's size of a Kometz or Minchas Kohen outside the Azarah, he is not Chayav. However, if there was only one olive's size remaining and he brought it outside the Azarah, he is Chayav even according to Rebbi Eliezer, since the Avodah was completed outside the Azarah.

3. According to Rebbi Eliezer and Rebbi Shimon, every placement of blood is considered a complete Avodah. It is not necessary to repeat it. Therefore, according to Rebbi Eliezer and Rebbi Shimon, if one performs even one placement of blood outside the Azarah, he is Chayav Kares, since it is considered a complete Avodah.

4. Just as a Korban is not valid until all of the Avodos are completed, a Korban is not considered Pigul until all of the Avodos are completed.

5. It is the subject of dispute between Rebbi Yonasan and Rebbi Yoshiyah. According to one opinion, the blood of the two Korbanos are mixed together before they are placed on the corners of the Mizbe'ach. According to the other opinion, the blood of each Korban is placed on the Mizbe'ach separately.

6. These Avodos apply only to the Kemitzah and not to the Levonah. Therefore, it is a Machshavas Pigul on a complete Avodah and the Minchah is Pigul.

7. According to the Chachamim, it is not Pigul unless there is a Machshavas Pigul for the entire Matir of the Minchah: for both the Kometz and the Levonah.

8. The Chiyuv of Pigul applies only to eating something which has a Matir, but not to something which is a Matir. The Kometz and Levonah are a Matir. They are Matir the Kohanim to eat the remaining portion of the Minchah.
