Why did Pharaoh instruct that they should not delay due to their household articles?

1.

Seforno: Because delaying the trip would jeopardize the health of the animals.

2.

Hadar Zekenim: He 1 knew that Yosef's father was adamant about his Kelim (not to leave them behind. Refer to 32:25:2:1.)

3.

Malbim: If you plan to stay temporarily, you will be concerned for your Kelim that you cannot take with you, to leave them in a guarded place when you return. However, since you come to settle, you need not be concerned for this.

4.

Ha'amek Davar: If only your children and wives will come, and you leave your Kelim with your slaves, 2 much will be lost before you return. Do not be concerned for this, for all the best craftsmen's handiwork of Egypt is yours!

The verses (45:17-20) connote that Pharaoh commanded all this. Did Yosef tell him such details about his father?! (PF)

2

Refer to 45:19:1:6.

2)

Verse 45:18 said, "v'Etenah [Lachem Es Tuv Eretz Mitzrayim]." Why does it say here, "Tuv Kol Eretz Mitzrayim Lachem Hu"?

1.

Malbim: The above verse discusses if you come temporarily; I will temporarily give to you Tuv Eretz Mitzrayim. Now it discusses coming to settle; Tuv Eretz Mitzrayim will be yours, for you will be like natives.

2.

Ha'amek Davar: Hashem put this in his mouth. The best of Egypt is for the sake of Yisrael, to be a [temporary] dwelling for Yisrael.
