Bechoros 61

BECHOROS 61 (25 Av)- dedicated by Mrs. G. Kornfeld for the fourth Yahrzeit of her mother, Mrs. Gisela Turkel (Golda bas Chaim Yitzchak Ozer), an exceptional woman with an iron will who loved and respected the study of Torah.

1)

(a) Rava learnt above that if the owner called the tenth and the eleventh animals 'the tenth', then the tenth and the eleventh are mixed together. There are three Beraisos: one says that they must graze, the second that they should be sacrificed, while the third says that they should die. How do we initially reconcile these three Beraisos?

(b) How does the Gemara attempt to prove from our Mishnah that, according to Rebbi Yehudah, Temuras Ma'aser is brought as a Korban?

(c) How does the Gemara reject this proof?

(d) How does the Gemara ultimately prove that Rebbi Yehudah holds that Temuras Ma'aser is sacrificed? (Two proofs)

(e) In that case, how do explain the Beraisa which holds that the tenth and the eleventh lambs must die?

2)
(a) What is the difference according to Rav Papi, between a Shali'ach who called the ninth lamb 'the tenth', and one who called the eleventh the tenth?

(b) What does Rav Papa say to that?

(c) What does the Gemara ask on Rav Papa from a Shali'ach of Terumah?

(d) What does the Gemara reconcile Rav Papa?
